California Residents - Use Your Car To Benefit Yosemite

The Yosemite license plate program makes a difference in Yosemite! Trail repair, bear proof food lockers, a new visitor orientation film and habitat restoration projects are made possible by Yosemite plate purchasers. Proceeds from sales and renewal of the plates benefit both Yosemite National Park and the State Environmental License Plate Fund.

Yosemite receives approximately $20 from each plate purchase or renewal. These funds are put directly into conservation projects in the park. The extra fees paid for personalizing a Yosemite plate go to the California Environmental License Plate Fund for conservation projects throughout California.

Cost
Sequential plates, not personalized, cost $50. A personalized Yosemite license plate costs $90. If you want to convert your existing personalized plate to a Yosemite plate, the cost is $70.
