The Yosemite Fund is the primary nonprofit fundraising organization for Yosemite. Since 1988, The Yosemite Fund has supported over 200 projects totaling over $40 million in support.
Our donors sponsor projects that fix trails, restore vital habitats, preserve art and artifacts, provide educational experiences for visitors, and survey and protect Yosemite's wildlife. Check out our 2008 projects!

Tunnel View is one of the most visited spots in Yosemite but the facilities are seriously degraded and the traffic flow is chaotic. This project will restore the Tunnel View Overlook, including creation of a larger viewing area, improved traffic and pedestrian circulation plan, revised drainage, vista clearing, wheelchair access and wayside exhibits as well as relocation of the trailhead to provide better trail access to other dramatic viewpoints.
